About Me

My name is Paul, I am the kilted biker, I love to travel Scotland, by foot, on two wheels, four or more. I love to share my country with others, her culture, her history, her food and drink not to forget her unbelievable views. I have discovered that everyone has their own interests and their own pace when it comes to visiting, some want to experience as much as they can in the time they have, some want to take their time and be in the moment and dive deeper into the places they visit, whatever you are looking for in a tour in Scotland I can help make it happen.

Planning…

I have experience operating all over mainland Scotland and many of the islands around.

I can help you plan out your Scottish adventure, whether that be exploring historical sites, tramping through the wild and rugged countryside, savouring more of our food and drink, or discovering our culture. Each trip can be tailored to what you want and at the pace you want, given the time you have, to make each trip memorable.

The biggest challenge in Scotland is the weather, I find keeping flexible gives us the best chance of beating it.

My working week is Monday to Friday, I will work on some Saturdays but you will need to contact me directly to achieve this.

Due to the limitations of the booking system you can only book 1 day at a time but once you have booked a day it offers you the opportunity to book another.

Contribute to Our Legacy

I love sharing my passions with others, if you would like to help me do this you can contribute here.

Classic, Custom and Quirky Rentals

I was exploring the north coast by motorcycle when I saw a gentleman cruising around in a small classic convertible and thought to myself, that would be the perfect way to explore the more remote roads of the UK. And so I am trying to let others have this slice of British culture as part of their adventure in Scotland. I have two cars being prepared for rental and more should follow. Keep checking back to see if we are ready to start our engines and head for the horizon.

Paul's Scottish History

The history of a people is often where we find their true nature, I have produced videos that explain, in brief, some of the most important events and colourful characters from Scotland’s history.

There will be subtitles in various languages coming soon.

Book Your Scottish Adventure

When thinking of stepping out on my own I was immediately confronted by the risks, would I get enough work to justify paying for a large touring vehicle. Then it hit me… if I have the risk I have to pass that onto the customer, which means they are not getting a good deal, if there are two people, do they need to be paying for my seven seater vehicle. And what if seven seats is not enough?

So I have decided not to supply a vehicle but rather to allow you to decide what type of vehicle is best for you. You tell me how you want to explore Scotland and I will hire it for the time we need it. You want to go by motorcycle? I can make that happen! You just need a car? No problem! Need a minibus or coach? I got you covered! You have twenty tons of luggage? Sure, why not, you get me a forty foot artic lorry (semi-truck) and I will drive it for you!

Costs:

I charge £260 per day during the peak season (April – September) and £240 outwith that time.

If you require me to stay away from my home base of Edinburgh I will arrange accommodation for myself unless you wish to arrange it on my behalf.

Any accommodation, vehicle rental, and fuel costs will be added to my daily rate and will be added to the invoice for you to keep for your own records.
